Deer Creek Ross Dress For Less Target of Union Protest

A union laborer said Ross is the only store not using the union for its build-out.

If you've wondered why the giant rat sits on the sidewalk at the west entrance to Deer Creek Center, it's the AFL-CIO Union's idea.

A union laborer picketing there a few days ago said Ross Dress for Less has chosen not to use union labor for the interior of the store.

He said the new development was built with union labor, as was the interior of the other new stores, but not Ross Dress For Less.

The laborer represented Laborers Local No. 110 of the AFL-CIO.
