GMO Food Labeling Protest at Whole Foods Saturday

The group, 'Safe Food Action St. Louis,' tells its members they could use more cars and trucks for the event.

A group called Safe Food Action St. Louis is planning an 'action' at the Brentwood Whole Foods on Saturday, August 18.

The group is protesting GMOs (Genetically Modified Food) that is not labeled as such.

On the group's Facebook page, it states:

This Saturday, August 18th is our action at , Brentwood location. We want GMOs to be labeled and we want Whole Foods to be responsive to consumer's strong interest in labeling of foods that contain GMOs.

They say the event will take place at 1 p.m. and they'll be meeting at 12:30 p.m. "for 'staging' and could use more cars and trucks."
