Jumpin' Jupiter Moving Day: Contributed Photos

A Maplewood business with a troubled history packs up, and residents snap photos.

A final eviction notice was tagged on Jumpin' Jupiter's door last week for owing $40,312 to its landlord, Maple King LLC, according to a court record.

It's first of five eviction notices was in May 2012, it was accused three times of not paying state sales taxes, and in June, scantily clad employees bringing in business on the sidewalk didn't sit well with neighbors.

Beginning Sunday, and through Monday, movers were loading U-Haul trucks parked at the front curb.

Though owner James Callhan wouldn't reveal The Jumpin' Jupiter's next location, it was clear that the show was packing up.

A few residents shared photos on Maplewood-Brentwood Patch Facebook and directly with Patch of the business' moving day.
