Maplewood Business Owners Travel To Russia to Learn More of Their Trade

The St. Louis Salt Room, 2739 Sutton Boulevard in Maplewood, will be closed from June 24 to July 12, while the owners, Clay and Lena Juracsik visit St. Petersburg, Russia, to learn more about salt room therapy.

Clay Juracsik said they will be at the Pavlovsky Medical University, where a team of physicians started developing salt room therapy in the late 1980s.

Juracsik said they’re excited to have been offered a unique learning opportunity to further enhance their knowledge of this medical/spa therapy. The St. Louis Salt Room opened in 2010.
