Maplewood Chamber of Commerce Board Votes No to Food Trucks

Downtown businesses would suffer, the board says. Its members will be out looking for signatures on a petition.

 

The has taken a preemptive position on food trucks in Maplewood. It doesn't want them.

It believes food trucks would have a negative impact on restaurants, which would then affect other retailers.

Members of the chamber plan on gathering signatures from businesses who support its position on March 23 from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m., and present the signatures at the April 2 Planning and Zoning Meeting.
