Maplewood McAlister's Serves Family and Friends, Grand Opening Tuesday

McAlister's Deli, in Deer Creek, served lunch to invited guests on Sunday. Lucky "family and friends" enjoyed giant cups of ice tea, sandwiches, salads and sides.

The restaurant doesn't advertise, but makes itself known by getting out into the community, like contributing tea to a church gathering, for example.

The Deer Creek McAlister's replaces the Clayton location. It's on the west end of Deer Creek Center, across Laclede Station Road from Deer Creek Park (Rocket Park).

McAlister's will be closed on Labor Day, and hold its grand opening Tuesday.
