, in Maplewood, is being reborn.
A good-sized crowd filled the space for a Kentucky Derby party this year and it must have gone well.
Once the home of renowned St. Louis chef Josh Galliano, the space will soon be converted for use as a private party venue.
"We feel that Monarch is the perfect venue for wedding receptions, charity events, cocktail parties with live music, and corporate holiday parties," Monarch's Facebook page states.
According to the website, more than 10,000 square feet of space is available. The team at Herbie's Vintage 72, in the Central West End, will manage the space. It will be Herbie's food in Monarch, keeping the name.
