The Siemens company installed a new computer system for Schlafly Beer, and hired a film crew to come to St. Louis to document the craft beer maker's relationship with the community.
A crew of about a dozen from New York and Los Angeles, along with some locally hired folk shot on Marietta Avenue, Saratoga Lanes, the Maple Leaf Barber Shop and other locations.
The crew stopped as little traffic as possible, and attracted curious neighbors, including Ward 3 Councilman Barry Greenberg. They had lunch at the Crows Nest.
