New Maplewood Business Offers Legal Services for Sexual Abuse Victims

The founder says the goal is to be everything legal having to do with sexual violence, as well as identify problems in the healthcare arena.

The Jane Doe Advocady Center opened its doors officially on Monday with a ribbon-cutting.

The new firm, at 7403 Manchester Road, behind the Monarch building, is founded by Rachna Goel, Esq. Its purpose, from its mission statement, is to "improve the state of public health with a focus on assisting and empowering survivors and those at-risk of sexual violence."

Her board includes vice president and director of social development, Season Miller; Sangita Sudharsham, M.D.; and Dara Strickland.
