Order the Green Chile Enchiladas at Southwest Diner

A St. Louis Post-Dispatch reader suggests the dish, saying he craved green chile enchiladas and "found an excellent version at Southwest Diner."

Readers of Maplewood-Brentwood Patch are fairly familiar with Southwest Diner at this point.

The restaurant, which is located just outside the borders of Maplewood, drew plenty of attention when we learned that a graduate of Brentwood High School would be co-owner. We also shared links to reviews of the restaurant on Feast and Riverfront Times.

The diner's most recent attention came from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch after one of the newspaper's readers shared his suggestion for the restaurant's green chile enchiladas.

"When I lived in New Mexico, I had easy access to green chile chicken enchiladas, so I never bothered to master the dish. Since moving back to Missouri, I crave them and recently found an excellent version at Southwest Diner," wrote the reader, Sam Pratt.

The Post-Dispatch continued to highlight the diner and its dish in an article, which is available on the newspaper's website.
