Last time I checked, the For Lease sign was taken down - so maybe it's already been decided who will be the Salt Room's new neighbor...

I think Maplewood needs a bakery. It would be so amazing to be able to walk down the street, buy fresh rolls or a freshly baked loaf of bread for breakfast. I know Foundation Grounds has baked goods but we don't have a bakery that makes anything other than wedding cakes. Wouldn't that be fabulous? I also think an ice cream shop would be good.

I'll second the bakery. Would be nice to have more businesses that the neighborhood would use on a regular basis.

Yes, a REAL bakery with bread, cookies, pastries would be a real hit. Another fun idea is a cool vintage shop.

I would live a real, independent bookstore (new or used). Also, since we are such a foodie hotspot, a kitchen accessories shop might do well.
