A tenth anniversary usually signifies a gift of tin or aluminum, but a St. Louis-based produce distributor is celebrating its company’s milestone with a brand new building.

Front Row Produce will move to its new building at 162 Belt Way Dr. in Overland, Mo. in March once renovations are completed.  The company purchased the 53,000-square-foot building for $2.5 million and will make $500,000 in renovations for needed office space, cooler walls and racking systems.  The building currently has refrigeration and freezer features in addition to 22-foot high ceilings conducive for food businesses.  Hilliker Corporation agent Scott Martin represented the buyer; seller Ken-Yatta, LLC, represented themselves.

Founded in March of 2004, Front Row Produce is a repacker, wholesaler and distributor for fresh fruits and vegetables.  The company, which sells to both foodservice distributors and retail stores, was previously located at 2427 N. Ninth St. in a 23,000-square-foot building.  Anthony Pupillo, Sr. is the president and owner of Front Row Produce, which has 100 employees.

Hilliker Corporation, which targets regional and national entrepreneurs, is St. Louis’ largest locally owned independent commercial real estate company located at 2001 S. Hanley Rd.  The firm’s agents, who each average over 15 years of experience, have completed more than 10,000 sales and leases for industrial, office, retail and institutional clients since its inception in 1985.  For more information, contact Hal Ball at (314) 781-0001 or visit their website at www.hillikercorp.com
