Hilliker Corporation Sells St. Louis Landmark

Hilliker Corporation was hired to sell Johnny's Market, a family owned and operated grocery store that closed its doors in 2012 after 68 years in business.  Its new owner has future redevelopment plans slated for the 2.5 acre property that features the more than 20,000-square-foot store.

Hilliker Corporation agent Will Aschinger represented the seller, Jon-Del Investments, LLC.  K2 Commercial Group represented itself as the buyer for the property located at 11555 Gravois Rd.  K2 Commercial Group is a real estate and retail developer located in St. Louis.  Future plans are still being reviewed and determined.

Johnny's Market was a South St. Louis institution that featured a variety of local produce and foods.  Owner Debbie Loeffelman, the daughter  of founders John and Adel Loeffelman, ran the business for its last 35 years.

Hilliker Corporation, which targets regional and national entrepreneurs, is St. Louis' largest locally owned independent commercial real estate company located at 1401 S. Brentwood Blvd.  The firm's agents, who each average over 15 years of experience, have completed more than 10,000 sales and leases for industrial, office, retail and institutional clients since its inception in 1985.  For more information, contact Hal Ball at (314) 781-0001 or visit their website at www.hillikercorp.com.
