Learn what to say and meet three book publishers: Kristina Makansi from Blank Slate Press, Robin Tidwell from Rockinghorse Publishing and Lisa Miller with Walrus Publishing at the St. Louis Publishers Association, Wednesday, December 11. Doors open at 6:30PM.   December's SLPA meeting is dedicated to helping you deliver your message in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.  Four key ingredients for a polished pitch are: <ul><li>the hook</li><li>the summary</li><li>your target audience</li><li>your qualifications as an author</li></ul> Up to several attendees will get to practice their one-minute pitch and receive valuable feedback from a panel of publishing and media professionals. (Preference will be given to current members.) The rest of the audience will learn from what the panelists have to say. It will be a great opportunity to learn the art of clear communication.
