Plumbing Supply Company Keeps Growing

Plumbers Supply Company (PSC) just moved to its current headquarters in Sept. of 2013. Now it's ready to grow again.

PSC recently purchased 4540 Swan Ave., a 58,000-square-foot building which is next door to its 58,000-square-foot headquarters at 4500 Swan Ave. in the St. Louis city area for a total of 116,000-square-feet. The company bought the new building for $1,015,000 and was again represented by Hilliker Corporation agent Jake Shepley.

PSC is a 90-year-old plumbing supply company that has locations throughout Missouri and Illinois. The company had been at its last headquarters, a 30,000-square-foot office at 6135 Horton Place in University City, for 56 years prior to its recent relocation.

Founded in 1924, PSC is a four generation family-owned and operated business. The company's locations in Missouri include Cape Girardeau, two in Central St. Louis City, Des Peres, North County, O'Fallon, Sikeston, South St. Louis City and Washington; Illinois locations are in Alton, Belleville and Mt. Vernon. PSC is a leading wholesale plumbing supplier with the largest selection of in-stock plumbing supplies in the St. Louis Metropolitan area. The company also has two state-of-the-art kitchen and bath showrooms.

"Plumbers Supply is excited to be a part of the renaissance taking place both in the Grove and St. Louis city at large," said PSC president John Dubuque. "The new construction of a convenient interchange at Tower Grove and Highway 40/64 will make the Grove even more attractive to local businesses."

Hilliker Corporation, which targets regional and national entrepreneurs, is St. Louis' largest locally owned independent commercial real estate company located at 1401 S. Brentwood Blvd. The firm's agents, who each average over 15 years of experience, have completed more than 10,000 sales and leases for industrial, office, retail and institutional clients since its inception in 1985.
