Two Women Dominate Sales in a Men’s Industry
According to the National Association of Women in Construction, only 9% of the construction industry is made up off female workers. BOLT Restoration more than doubles that statistic, 20% of their employees are women.
The terms construction, roofing, siding or storm restoration naturally clicks as a male dominated industry. However, two of BOLT’s women succeeding as field relations managers are turning some heads.
Taylor Buecher and Melanie Bold inform neighborhood homeowners of the hail, wind, tornado and other storm related damage to their home caused by the most recent stormy weather. The day to day responsibilities of the two include: inspecting properties for storm damage by walking on the roof, presenting solutions and options to customers for their home, prospecting new customers through networking and maintaining relationships with everyone they meet.

Buecher and Bold’s approach can be described in two words, confidence and passionate. Both these women are not only confident in themselves and their knowledge of the industry but they are passionate about helping others by listening to their needs and wants.
