Advent is about anticipation. So think about celebrating Advent this year.

Carly Simon wrote, “Anticipation, anticipation, is makin’ me late, is keepin’ me waitin’.”

I don’t know about “makin’ me late”, but Advent is definitely about anticipation. We rush to and through Christmas too fast!

The Advent season is about waiting, anticipating, being pregnant with possibility and taking the time to savor what might happen, taking the time to prepare for something new to...happen. Think about celebrating Advent this year. Think about how something new might happen in your life and let yourself be filled with awe and wonder at the possibilities!

While you're at it, think about joining us at Christ Church for holiday worship.  Remember, Christ Church is a place where ALL ARE WELCOME.

Happy Anticipation!   And Happy Advent –
