Morning Exchange: Expect a Rainy Presidents Day

Do you plan to relax inside or brave the rainy weather?

If the warmer temperatures tricked you into planning a Presidents Day picnic with the family, consider rescheduling for after noon. Forecasts call for an 80 percent chance of precipitation and lots of rain, mostly before noon, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures could climb to a high of 54 degrees during the day and drop to a low of 26 at night. Don't worry, forecasts call for more sunny weather in the 50s on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Presidents Day Closings

  • All city, state and federal offices are closed.
  • The Brentwood and Maplewood public libraries are closed.
  • Brentwood, Maplewood Richmond Heights and St. Mary Magdalen schools are closed.
  • United States Postal Service locations are closed.
