Morning Exchange: Thursday's Forecast Calls for Snow and Rain

Enjoy today's sunny weather while you can.

Forecasts call for a mostly sunny day with a high of 41 degrees, but call for rain and snow on Thursday, according to the National Weather Service. After a rainy Presidents Day, today may be your best shot for a hike in the woods or outdoors picnic before more bad weather (thankfully not ice and sleet!) comes rolling in.

What We're Working On

  • A news tip alerted us to several credit/debit cards in Brentwood being compromised by fraudulent charges. I'm looking into it.
  • I'll be at the Maplewood City Council meeting tonight, where city staff will present a report ranking which Maplewood residential streets need the most improvement.
  • We're seeking nominations for this week's Whiz Kid. Know of a teen or kid who's done something great for the community? as the Whiz Kid! It's easy to do.

What else should we be working on? Have a news tip or story suggestion? Leave a note in the comments box below or shoot me an e-mail at ryan.martin@patch.com.
