27 Years of Winter Wonder, Photos from Tilles Park

Pedestrians strolled the Tilles Park Winter Wonderwalk this weekend for a preview of Winter Wonderland, which opens on Wednesday.

Winter Wonderland, the million-light holiday display in Tilles Park, opens on Wednesday for the 27th annual showing this year.

Pedestrians got a sneak preview this weekend, and food trucks provided fuel for the exercise.

The drive-through, by car or horse-drawn carriage, opens Nov. 21 at 5:30 p.m. and runs through Jan. 1. It's closed Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.

Saturdays are reserved for carriage rides only.

The following information is from the St. Louis County Parks Department

Admission Fees:

  • $10 family vehicle
  • $20 limousine
  • $40 commercial transport van
  • $90 tour bus

No reservations are needed. Pay your admission when you leave.

Directions:

Winter Wonderland - Tilles Park 9551 Litzinger Road St. Louis, MO 63124. All traffic to Winter Wonderland must enter from south bound McKnight Road.  

From Interstate 40/64 head south on McKnight Road. Traffic should stay to the right and enter the park from the McKnight Road entrance gate.  All traffic will exit the park from the Litzsinger Road exit gate.
