Trivia Night Raises Money For Mid-County YMCA

As fundraisers go, few provide the participation, fun and frivolity of a trivia night. in Brentwood hosted a trivia night for the on Friday. It was a standard agenda: 10 rounds of 10 questions with the usual added diversions of a 50/50 drawing, heads and tails contest and a raffle for a wheelbarrow of booze.

The tables of competitors matched wits with one another to see who could summon the most arcane of answers. There actually were only 98 questions in play, as emcee Kay Quinn of KSDK started off one round by reading the answers instead of the questions. Proceeds from the evening will help support programs at the Mid-County Y.
