REI Park Clean-up & Community Garden Planting Day

Brentwood Parks & Recreation and REI are teaming up for our Annual Park Clean-up and Community Garden Planting Day on Saturday, April 6 from 9:30 to 12pm.  All of the Parks in Brentwood will get a spring cleaning, while Rogers Parkway at the corner of Dorothy & Florence Avenues will get a face-lift of beautiful flowers. All volunteers will meet at Memorial Park for orientation. We will send groups to designated locations with trash bags or flower pots in hand. Wear clothes and shoes that are ready to get dirty. We will provide trash bags, you provide gloves and energy! The Brentwood Lions Club will provide lunch for participants at the end of the day’s activity. Our garden will require maintenance, so volunteers to keep up with watering & weeding throughout the season are welcome! Call REI at 314-963-8689 to volunteer. To make a donation to this event, please contact Dan Kornfeld at 314-963-8683.  This event is FREE.
