Community Corner

reMAKE @ The Wine Press

At this crafty get-together over drinks you’ll transform junk into fall essentials to keep you toasty warm as the temperatures begin to drop. Learn simple ways to transform old sweaters into pocketsize hand warmers or create a neck scarf from t-shirt scraps. Plus, keep your hot beverages warm with a sophisticated leather coozie made from old belts.

Perennial, a grassroots non-profit, has a mission to teach the St. Louis community to see the creative potential in items they might normally throw away. With all materials provided and instructors on hand to guide you, reMAKE will have you bundled and ready for chilly nights.

Perennial will hold its monthly meet up on Thursday, October 25th from 5:30pm – 7:30pm, at The Wine Press. With the fire pit lit outside and candles flickering inside, The Wine Press is the perfect spot to get cozy with a friend and partake in the shop’s daily deal; an appetizer for two and a bottle of wine for $25 from 5pm – 7pm. For the non-wine drinkers, The Wine Press offers over 30 beer varieties.
