Missouri College knows it can be tough to keep the whole family focused on healthy habits. That’s why the St. Louis campus is one of 20 locations nationwide participating in the school’s Family Wellness Week. The mission is simple: to empower families to live healthy lifestyles.
From Monday, July 29 to Thursday, August 1, children and their moms, dads, grandparents and their pets in the St. Louis area are invited to take advantage of free healthcare screenings and educational activities: dental education and screenings, a health education puppet show, and healthy eating workshop for the kids and chair massages and a bone marrow drive for the families who accompany them.
Family Wellness Week provides an opportunity for students to take their classroom knowledge into the community to ensure all families have access to healthcare screenings.
