10th Annual Maplewood Christmas Tree Walk on Friday

The annual Christmas Tree Walk kicks off the holiday season in Maplewood.

For nearly a decade, the holiday season in Maplewood has become official with the grand lighting of the Christmas tree in Park during the evening of the first Friday in December. This tradition will continue this year as the event celebrates its 10th anniversary. 

From costumed carolers to roasted chestnuts, the Maplewood Christmas Tree Walk radiates holiday spirit. After the grand lighting of the tree and the arrival of Santa Claus, visitors can enjoy free carriage rides or sip hot chocolate while strolling through Maplewood as they visit merchant open houses.

Business storefronts are decked out for the season and many will be featuring live entertainment, complimentary refreshments and special discounts for the evening. A complimentary shuttle will be running throughout Maplewood to ensure visitors can get to all participating businesses.
