Chamber Welcomes V Three Studios, Stellar Batik to Maplewood

The officially welcomed V Three Studios and Stellar Batik to Maplewood with ribbon cuttings last week.

V Three Studios, located at 2712 Sutton Blvd., is a full service architectural firm with an emphasis in media and communication. V Three Studios' resume includes residential, commercial and interactive projects. Just a few of their clients include Washington University Gephart Institute, CBS Radio Headquarters, Entertainment St. Louis and Galaxy Aquatics.

Walking into V Three Studios office is like walking into an old friend's home! The team, led by Kurt Kerns, is enthusiastic, warm and friendly. The work they do, displayed throughout the office, speaks for itself. They're thrilled to be in Maplewood and looking forward to being able to grow in their new space.

The store boasts bright and colorful T-shirts, dresses, skirts, rompers, accessories and more. Each product is handmade using an in-depth process of batiking. I simply couldn't resist purchasing a beautiful sundress for my daughter!

Owners Scot Smelser and Kristen Fox previously ran the business from their home in Maplewood. After realizing they had outgrown their dining room, they decided to open a store. In addition to having a place to create and sell their products, the store also provides a space for their customers to host "batik making" parties. Stellar Batik is a gem that we have no doubt will quickly become part of Maplewood shoppers' to-do lists.
