ROCK N ROLL CRAFT SHOW CALL FOR ARTISTS!

CALL FOR ARTISTS END SEPTEMBER 15

The ninth annual Rock n Roll Craft Show to rock St. Louis on Thanksgiving weekend!

St. Louis, MO, November 25-27, 2012 – The Rock N Roll Craft Show’s ninth annual 3-day department-style craft show will be Thanksgiving weekend at the Third Degree Glass Factory, located at 5200 Delmar, between Union and Kingshighway, situated between the lively Delmar Loop and the historic Central West End neighborhoods.

Rock N Roll Craft Show 9 Holiday Extravaganza, featuring over 100 crafters and artists, musical entertainment, family-friendly craft demonstrations, and great eats and drinks, will once again prove to be this city’s hottest art event! Shoppers and guests should expect to see unique, next-generation, hand-made items from artists known both locally and nationally.

V.I.P Treatment for Special Guests on Red Carpet Black Friday….

RRCS is proud to present another day of V.I.P. treatment for very special guests with Red Carpet Black Friday! On Friday, November 25th, guests will pay $10 for premiere access to the fantastic handmade goods and artistic creations from our vendors, Black Friday shopping without the crowds, exclusive performances, and V.I.P. treatment including great giveaways – the first 100 shoppers will receive a goodie bag packed with great stuff from our sponsors and each V.I.P guest that day will be eligible to win a gift certificate or gift basket/bag once each hour! Show up early, stay all day, be treated like the very important person that you are!

Who we are:

The Rock N Roll Craft Show was started in 2005 by a group of crafty friends who simply wanted to provide a venue for themselves and others to display their original work. Rather than compete with the quilt-filled craft shows of our grandparents’ generation, the organizers of the Rock N Roll Craft Show aim to capture the energy of this generation’s DIY-ers. Since our humble beginning when the first RRCS featured a mere 50 vendors and only 500 attendees, we have now grown by leaps and bounds to more than 120 artists and 6000 attendees, have been featured by local and national press and have been repeatedly recognized as St. Louis’s best alternative craft event!

Join us this Thanksgiving weekend to experience the perfect alternative to the madness of the traditional holiday retail shopping scene – drinks, snacks, music, and one-of-a-kind creations you won’t find at the mall!

Just a short thought to get the word out quickly about anything in your neighborhood.
Share something with your neighbors. Write a new post... What's up? Make an announcement, speak your mind, or sell something

I was just thinking, if you happen to see something.....like the sign in front of City Hall, or theRead More sign in Schnuck's parking lot....regarding something going on in Brentwood, now you can click on the "Post" board at the top of the page, and let people know what is happening in Brentwood. We have the new format so we can now post whatever we want. Just click and post. Anyone can do it too.

I doubt this discrepancy you think exists is because the editors have more of a connection toRead More Maplewood. I imagine it is because Maplewood officials and Chamber of Commerce members send press releases to the editors regarding upcoming events and news items. If you want your local community to have more of a presence in the Patch, I suggest you contact the proper officials in Brentwood and urge them to send such notices. Self-promotion for a community is a good thing, although in the case of Brentwood Days and other iconic Brentwood events, it was my understanding that the city didn't want it publicized and preferred it to be a smaller event.
