MRH Gives Back for Thanksgiving

MRH gives back with Operation Food Search - St. Louis.

On Monday, ’s class Cornerstone started a food drive for Operation Food Search - St. Louis.

Operation Food Search - St. Louis sends food to help people in the St. Louis area who are not fortunate enough to have a proper Thanksgiving dinner.

“Feed the world. That's our motto. It's good to get involved in social good in any form,” said Cornerstone teacher Patrice Bryan.

Bryan had her two classes form groups that would decorate a trash can with their names on it and see who would be able to get the most canned food items.

MRH students feel that this is a good way to show the spirit of sharing.

“It’s a good thing to do,” said sophomore Paul Broyles. “I look forward to Thanksgiving to get all the delicious food, and other people should have the opportunity to look forward to it too."
