Please someone explain why the Alderman voted down posting against the bond of our past city administrator on Monday night?  It would have not cost the city a penny.  As taxpayers we paid this bond premium for years to protect us against the fraud that was perpetrated against us and when the perfect scenario plays out as to why we purchased the bond our leaders don't act on it.  I have no proof of wrong doing by those that voted to not enforce the bond.  My opinion is simply this, for them to not have to spend a penny with the chance to recoup thousands leaves me believing there are things best left hidden and there is a lot of guilt sitting at the front table.  Would that bond given us back the $17,000 worth of mobile phones the past city administrator bought for no reason?  How about all the bills that came with those phones?  Isn't that why we bought the bond?  Good luck to those Alderman who voted on this poor direction when they decide to run for Mayor.  This will be an interesting issue that they will have to answer.  Spend no money a chance to recoup thousands.  Nice decision guys.
