4 Barking Dogs Reported, Pet Locked in Running Car: May 17 and 18 Brentwood Crime Report

May 17

  1. 2:11 a.m. – Police assisted a cab driver with a customer who wouldn't pay the fare at White at Kempton. 
  2. 3:38 a.m. – There was a burglar alarm in the 1800 block of Brentwood Blvd. The business was secure when they arrived.
  3. 10:33 a.m. – Someone was burning something illegally in the 8700 block of Pine Ave. 
  4. 12:04 p.m. – Police assisted an ambulance with an accidental injury in the 2800 block of Hilldale Ave. 
  5. 3:08 p.m. – There was a traffic accident with no injuries in the 1900 block of Brentwood Blvd.
  6. 3:43 p.m. – Police assisted with a pet in a car at Brentwood Promenade. The car running and the air conditioning was on.
  7. 4:39 p.m. – There was a traffic accident with no injuries in the 1600 block of Brentwood Blvd.
  8. 4:56 p.m. – There was a traffic accident with no injuries in the 2600 block of Hanley Road. 
  9. 6:31 p.m. – There was a disturbance in the 2600 block of Cecelia Ave.
  10. 10:15 p.m. – Someone reported phone harassment in the 2800 block of Hilldale Ave. 
  11. 10:53 p.m. – Police helped an ambulance in the 1700 block of Redbird Cove.  

May 18

  1. 1:08 a.m. – Police went to the 1800 block of McKnight Rd. for a report of a barking dog, which was unfounded.
  2. 1:45 a.m. – Police went to the 1800 block of McKnight Rd. for a report of a barking dog, which was unfounded.
  3. 3:03 a.m. – Someone was suspected of an indecent act in the 2100 block of Brentwood Blvd. 
  4. 6:36 a.m. – Police went to the 8800 block of Powell Ave. for a report of a barking dog, which was unfounded.
  5. 6:43 a.m. – Police went to Brentwood Promenade to help the fire department with a car fire.
  6. 7:21 a.m. – There was an accidental alarm at Northcote Rd.
  7. 7:41 a.m. – There was a barking dog in the 2600 block of Cecelia Ave. Police were unable to contact the owner.
  8. 7:48 a.m. – There was a moped accident with an injury at Brentwood and Marshall. 
  9. 1:36 p.m. – Police arrested a suspicious person in the 1600 block of Hanley Road. 
  10. 3:04 p.m. – There was a traffic accident with no injuries in the 2200 block of High School Dr. 
  11. 3:22 p.m. – Police assisted the fire department with a kitchen fire in the 2400 block of Brentwood Blvd. 
  12. 4:32pm – A suspicisous person was reported in the 2300 block of Brentwood Blvd. 
  13. 5:32 p.m. – Police assisted an ambulance with an accidental injury in the 1900 block of Brentwood Blvd. 
  14. 5:45 p.m. – There was a traffic accident with no injuries in the 8700 block of Bridgeport Ave.
  15. 5:46 p.m. – Police helped an ambulence in the 2800 block of Lawndell Ave. 
  16. 6:44 p.m. – There was a traffic accident with no injuries at Brentwood Square. 
  17. 7:19 p.m. – There was a traffic accident with no injuries at Brentwood Promenade. 
  18. 9:19 p.m. – A suspicious car was reported in the 8100 block of Manchester Rd.
  19. 9:20 p.m. – Someone reported loud people in the 600 block of Hanley Industrial Ct.
