$500, Credit Cards, iPod Stolen From Unlocked Cars, Maplewood Cops Say

Also video games and more stolen from Maplewood Commons businesses.

Monday, September 16

  • A purse, iPod Touch, cell phone, and a wallet containing credit cards and $500 cash was reported stolen from two vehicles in the 3500 block of Manhattan. The cars were unlocked.
  •  A 19-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business. The suspect was also wanted by another agency on a stealing charge as well.

  • A 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting video games from a Maplewood Commons business. A computer inquiry further revealed the suspect to have an active warrant for a probation/parole violation.
  • A 36-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business. She was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance at the time of her arrest and she was charged accordingly.

Wednesday, September 18

  • A 30-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
  • A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of stealing approximately $135 from a Maplewood Commons business.
