Another Copper Theft Reported in Maplewood

The following information was obtained through the Missouri Sunshine Law from the Maplewood Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

At 12:42 p.m., a case of trespassing was reported in a home in the 7600 block of Weaver Avenue.

Thursday, June 16

At 8:07 p.m., copper piping was reported stolen from a vacant home in the 7600 block of Weaver Avenue. The suspect gained entry through a shattered glass door.

Monday, June 20

Two men and a woman—one of which was a minor—were issued summons for drinking in public at the corner of Bellevue and Lyndover avenues. Two were reportedly carrying Bud Ice while the other had a Four Loko.

Tuesday, June 21

At 11:20 a.m., a case of trespassing was reported at a home in the 7500 block of Sussex Avenue. Police reports show an arrest was made.

Friday, June 24

At 12:31 p.m., the fraudulent use of a money order was reported in Maplewood.

At 6:36 p.m., a bed case and DVD were reported stolen from a Maplewood Commons business.

Saturday, June 25

At 11:12 p.m., three pairs of shorts and a pair of pants were reported stolen from a Maplewood Commons business. Police reports show an arrest was made.
