The following information was supplied by the Brentwood and Maplewood Police Departments. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Brentwood

 April 3

At 10 a.m. a police officer stopped a 25-year-old man for a traffic violation at Hanley Road and Musick Memorial Drive. The man was later arrested for suspicion of possessing controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

April 3

At 2:46 p.m. a 55-year-old woman was arrested for suspicion of stealing alcohol from a business in the Brentwood Promenade.

April 4

At 4:20 p.m. a 31-year-old man was arrested for suspicion of stealing insulation and wiring from a business in the 1600 block of Hanley Road.

April 5

At 1:57 p.m. a 22-year-old man was arrested for suspicion of stealing computer games from a business in the Brentwood Promenade.

April 6

The owner of a home on Southcote Drive heard breaking glass outside his home. When he looked out he saw a man reaching into his car through the broken rear window. The owner yelled at the person, who then ran away. Nothing was taken.

Maplewood

April 2

A 22-year-old man was arrested for suspicion of shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.  Computer records indicated he was also wanted on a parole violation for burglary.

April 3

A 35-year-old man was arrested for suspicion of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.  The man was a passenger in a vehicle stopped by a patrol officer for a traffic violation near Big Bend and Williams. Further inquiry revealed he was wanted on a failure to appear warrant.

April 4

Jewelry and money was stolen from a home in the 7500 block of Alicia Avenue between 9:45 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. The suspect(s) forced their way into the house. 

April 7

An 18 –year-old female was arrested in the 7800 block of Cutlass Walk for suspicion of assaulting another female.  No injuries were reported.
