Man Suspected of Armed Robbery in Brentwood is Arrested
He threatened a bank teller at a bank inside Brentwood Dierberg's, police say.

John P. Sarver, 55, of Kansas City, KS, threatened the bank teller with “a dangerous instrument” and got away with cash from the bank, police stated in court documents. Police arrested Sarver on a Metrolink platform minutes later.
A witness identified Sarver as the robber and the defendant confessed to the robbery, according to the police report.

Sarver is being charged with first-degree robbery. Bond has been set at $50,000.
