Domestic Assault, Shoplifting Accusations on 2 Blocks of Manchester Road

The following items were reported by the for July 23-29.

Tuesday, August 7

• A 23-year-old woman was arrested on the charge of possessing marijuana stemming from a traffic stop in the area of Jerome and Bredell avenues. 

Wednesday, August 8

• A 28-year-old man was arrested on the charge of shoplifting from a Maplewood Commons business.
• A 56-year-old man was arrested on the charge of shoplifting from a business in the 7300 block of Manchester Road.

Friday, August 10

• An 18-year-old man was arrested on charges of domestic assault and violation of an order of protection. The suspect was accused of assaulting his girlfriend the previous day in the 7500 block of Manchester.
• A 25-year-old man involved in an accident in the 7200 block of Manchester Road is accused of not having a valid driver’s license or insurance. He was also was suspected of being an illegal immigrant. He was arrested on the suspected violations, and Immigration and Custom Enforcement was notified.   

Saturday, August 11

• A leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident was reported in the 7300 block of Manchester. It was reported that the car was damaged in a parking lot.

Sunday, August 12

• A laptop computer was reported stolen from an apartment in the 2500 block of Bellevue Avenue.
• A GPS unit was reported stolen from an unlocked car in the 7200 block of Bruno Avenue.
