Fugitive From Justice Lived in Maplewood: Wanted in North Dakota Since 2007

The 28-year-old suspect was charged with forgery, felony theft, and felony possession of stolen property.

The following information was supplied by the Maplewood Police Department.

On Dec. 20 a felony fugitive from justice was taken into custody without incident by the Maplewood Police Department in the 2600 block of Margarette Avenue.  

Maplewood Police had been contacted by the Burleigh County Sheriff’s Department in North Dakota who requested assistance in apprehending Andrew Minard, 28, wanted by the Sheriff’s Department on four counts of felony probation charges (forgery, felony theft, and felony possession of stolen property) since Oct. 16, 2007.

The sheriff’s department in ND, learned that the Minard was living Maplewood on Margarette Avenue. Maplewood officers went to the residence in the 2600 block of Margarette and arrested Minard. He was taken to the St. Louis County Justice Services Center to await extradition by the Burleigh County Sheriff’s Department.
