Items Stolen From Vehicles in Brentwood Forest

Monday, Oct. 3

At 12:53 a.m., a 36-year-old driver was pulled over in the 1600 block of Hanley Road for not displaying a license plate. Upon investigation, police discovered outstanding warrants, and a search of the vehicle uncovered a loaded handgun.

At 8:11 a.m., a home burglary was reported in the 9000 block of Lawn Avenue. Police report that someone had broken into the residence and cut the copper piping in the basement. The piping was lying on the floor outside the door.

At 7:25 p.m., clothes were reported stolen from a vehicle parked at the Brentwood Promenade.

Thursday, Oct. 6

At 12:40 a.m., a 19-year-old driver was arrested near the intersection of High School Drive and Litzsinger Road for the alleged possession of a controlled substance.

Friday, Oct. 7

Police took five reports from citizens in the Brentwood Forest area who had items taken from their vehicles. The reports were taken on W. Swan Circle, Bluejay Cove, Cardinal Terrace and High School Drive. The victims stated that loose change and an iPod were taken. There were no signs of forced entry on any of the vehicles.

Sunday, Oct. 9

At 2 a.m, a 33-year-old man was arrested in the 8700 block of Magdalen Avenue for domestic assault.

At 2:43 p.m., a 19-year-old man was arrested in the 8300 block of Eager Road for allegedly stealing clothes.
