Jewelry Worth Thousands, Copper Piping Reported Stolen in Maplewood

Monday, Jan. 24

At 5:45 p.m., a streetlight, street sign and no parking sign were damaged near the intersection of Rannells Avenue and Circle Drive after a tractor trailer reportedly veered off the road, struck the objects and left the scene.

Wednesday, Jan. 26

At 2:01 p.m., a wallet with a driver's license, social security card and credit cards was reported stolen inside a government building in the 3200 block of Laclede Station Road.

At 6:57 p.m., clothes were reported stolen from a department store in Maplewood Commons. An arrest was made and the clothes were returned, according to police reports.

Thursday, Jan. 27

At 4:11 p.m., lip balm, clothes, consumable goods, makeup, jeans and a jacket were reported stolen inside a department store in the Maplewood Commons. An arrest was made and the items were returned, according to police reports.

Friday, Jan. 28

At 10:38 p.m., damage to a 1998 Ford Mustang was reported in the 3000 block of Sutton Boulevard. Three imprints and a skid mark damaged the windshield, according to police reports.

Sunday, Jan. 30

At 6:23 p.m., a third-degree domestic assault was reported in a parking lot in Maplewood Commons.

Monday, Jan. 3

At 3:34 p.m., a laptop was reported stolen at Maplewood Richmond Heights High School.

Thursday, Jan. 6

At 2:45 p.m., copper guttering was reported stolen off the roof of a business in the 3400 block of Big Bend Boulevard. Police report an unknown suspect stole the guttering between 2:30 a.m. on Jan. 5 and 1 p.m. on Jan. 6. Skylights were reported damaged as well.

Wednesday, Jan. 12

At 11:56 a.m., a laptop computer was reported stolen in a parking lot in the 3500 block of Big Bend Boulevard. The laptop was stolen sometime between 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Jan. 11, according to police reports.

Friday, Jan. 14

At 12:08 p.m., a third-degree assault, larceny and property damage were reported at a residence on the 7600 block of Manchester Road. The suspect allegedly destroyed a cell and home phone while stealing money and a picture, according to police reports. Police reports show an arrest was made.

Monday, Jan. 17

At 7:31 a.m., jewelry, checks and medicine were reported stolen from a residence in the 7700 block of Williams Court. The pieces of jewelry were collectively worth $6,200, according to police reports.

At 9:10 a.m., a credit card was reported stolen from a residence in the 7700 block of Williams Court.

Tuesday, Jan. 18

At 11:38 a.m, a second-degree burglary was reported at a residence in the 7400 block of Flora Avenue. A suspect forced entry in the back door and stole electrical wire, refrigeration line, drop light cord, shop vac cord, thermostat wiring, copper piping, jigsaw cord, drill cord, extension cord and other wiring, according to police reports. Police believe the burglary happened at 8:15 a.m., reports show.

At 11:32 p.m., a bookbag, school books, notebooks and perfume were reported stolen from inside a car in the 3500 block of Greenwood Boulevard. The vehicle's window was shattered. Police believe the theft and damage occurred between 6:45 p.m. and 11:32 p.m.

Wednesday, Jan. 19

At 11:13 a.m., a third-degree assault was reported at a residence on the 2400 block of Florent Avenue.

Thursday, Jan. 20

A first-degree burglary and rape was reported at a residence in the 2400 block of Laclede Station Road.

Friday, Jan. 21

At 2:29 p.m., a third-degree assault was reported at a medical office in the 7200 block of Manchester Road.

Sunday, Jan. 23

At 2:02 p.m., state liquor law violations were reported at .
