Man Impersonated an Officer to Touch Woman's Buttocks, Police Say

A man is accused of impersonating a police officer so he could grope a woman in Brentwood, police said.

Zachary Kyle Hamby, 23, of Florissant, was charged Monday with impersonating an officer, a class A misdemeanor.

Brentwood Police said Hamby told a woman sometime between Dec. 10 and Dec. 20 that he was a St. Louis County police officer. Police said the woman got into a vehicle with Hamby and allowed him to touch her buttocks because she thought Hamby was a police officer.
