4 Driving While Intoxicated Arrests Saturday Night in Maplewood

One of those arrested was also wanted for robbery.

Maplewood Police arrested four men on Dec. 29 for suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Two were driving, one had run into a pole and one was slumped at the wheel.

  • A 57-year-old man was arrested on for suspicion of driving while intoxicated in the 7800 block of Manchester Road.
  • A 23-year-old man was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated in the area of Manchester Road and Bredell Avenue. 
  • A 22-year-old man was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated in the  2600 block of S. Hanley Road as result of an accident investigation. The driver had run into an electric pole in a one-car accident, police reported.
  • A 21-year-old man was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated in the 7400 block of Manchester Road. The man was reported subject slumped at the wheel, and further inquiry revealed he was wanted by another jurisdiction on robbery charges.
