5 Most Dangerous Intersections, Maplewood Police Say
A Maplewood Patrol Commander said not paying attention and speeding are among causes.
The five Maplewood intersections with the most accidents are probably no surprise.
Two are part of the Maplewood Commons complex and three are major intersections on Manchester Road.
Patrol Commander Lt. Mark Griffin sent Patch the list, and said they "obviously have a high volume of traffic on them which creates a greater chance of an accident."

He also said not paying attention and failing to comply with traffic laws, such as speeding and failing to yield to traffic, are the major contributing factors to accidents.
