Maplewood Man Pleads Guilty to Craigslist Cop Murder-for-Hire

William Lawrence, 32, plead guilty in a federal court to placing a Craigslist ad, advertising a $1 million reward for any Maplewood police officer killed.

A 32-year-old Maplewood man, William Lawrence, plead guilty on to a federal murder-for-hire charge Monday and admitted posting a Craigslist ad for the life of any officer, according to an article in STLtocay.com.

According to the article in the STLtoday.com, Lawrence lived with his mother in the 7700 block of Lindbergh Drive at the time. His sentencing hearing is Sept. 18.
