Women Steal $500 in Cosmetics and Swim Suits, Deer Creek Park Vandalized

The following calls were for the on May 14-19.

May 14

  • Four women were arrested for shoplifting approximately $500 in cosmetics and swimsuits from a Maplewood Commons business.

  • A 27-year-old man was stopped in traffic near Folk and Laclede Station, and arrested  for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
  • The owner of a car parked in the 7100 block of South Street told police that it was damaged by another car on the driver's side between 11 p.m. May 15, and 10 a.m. May 16. There are no suspects.

May 19

  • Police officers received a call of a disturbance at a residence, and went to a home in the 7200 block of Lyndover. There, they saw a 41-year-old man shove his girlfriend to the ground. Paramedics treated her for minor injuries, and the boyfriend was charged with third degree domestic assault, and arrested.
  • Someone broke concrete fence rails at Deer Creek Park between 9:55 and 11:55 p.m. near the walk path at the south section of the park. This is the third time these fence rails have been broken.
