Maplewood Police: Man Disturbed the Peace Over Blocked Parking Spot

Also a 42-year-old man is suspected of assaulting his girlfriend.

The Maplewood Police Department reported the following service calls:

Monday, Oct. 8

  • An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting from a Maplewood Commons business.

Wednesday, Oct. 10

  • A 42-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assaulting his girlfriend in the 7600 block of Weaver Avenue. 

Friday, Oct. 12

  • A 45-year-old man was issued a summons for disturbing the peace the 2800 block of Marshall Avenue. The man allegedly became upset because a vehicle was blocking a parking space in the parking lot. 
  • An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 7200 block of Lyndover Avenue. The officer discovered that the 17-year-old man driving the car had a suspended license, was wanted by another police department and also had possessed marijuana.
