Maplewood Police Report Gibson Guitar, DVDs and Perfume Among Stolen Goods

The weekly Maplewood police blotter compiles reports from Jan. 31 through Feb. 6.

A first-degree burglary and rape has been filed as a false police report, said Lt. Mark Griffin of the . Additional details were scarce, but he said the determination was made through an investigation by the department.

Tuesday, Feb. 1

At 10:49 p.m., a new Gibson Custom 1957 Les Paul Goldtop Guitar was reported stolen through fraud at a business in the 7300 block of Manchester Road.

At 2:14 p.m., a third-degree domestic assault was reported in a residence in the 3700 block of Cambridge Avenue.

At 4:04 p.m., the unlawful use of a weapon was reported in an apartment parking lot in the 7200 block of Sarah Avenue. Police reports show an arrest was made.

At 4:18 p.m., a license plate was reported stolen in the 7600 block of Manchester Road.

Thursday, Feb. 3

At 2:10 p.m., six DVDs were reported stolen at a business in Maplewood Commons. Police reports show an arrest was made.

Saturday, Feb. 5

At 1:54 p.m., four bottles of cologne and perfume—White Diamond, Curve For Men, Georgio Red and Eternity for Women—were reported stolen at a business in Maplewood Commons. Police reports show an arrest was made.
