More Identity Thefts Costing Thousands of Dollars Reported in Maplewood

Tuesday, Feb. 22
At 1:39 p.m., a coffee grinder was reported stolen and a second-degree assault were reported in a Maplewood Commons parking lot.

At 2:51 p.m., a laptop, Playstation 3 and MP3 player were reported stolen from a home in the 7700 block of Comfort Avenue.
At 3:05 p.m., a car window was reported damaged in the 7100 block of Lyndover Place.

At 4:39 p.m., a case of identity theft was reported in Maplewood. More than $70 was reported fraudulently obtained.
At 8:12 p.m., a third-degree assault was reported in a restaurant in Maplewood Commons. Police reports show an arrest was made.
Wednesday, Feb. 23
At 8:58 a.m., four computers, along with a camera, sound dock, video game console, 32-inch TV, two security systems, fit board, comforter set, bed sheets, DVD player and ink cartridges were reported stolen in a business in Maplewood Commons. Police reports show an arrest was made.
At 11:01 a.m. and 1:12 p.m., two cases of identity theft were reported separately in Maplewood. About $10,000 was reported fraudulenty obtained.
At 10:25 p.m., a $12,000 case of embezzlement was reported in a business in the Maplewood Commons.
Friday, Feb. 25
At 10:02 p.m., a tampon holder, T-shirts, boxers, Ramen noodles, lasagna and other food items were reported stolen in a business in Maplewood Commons. Police reports show an arrest was made.
Saturday, Feb. 26
At 11:34 a.m., a third-degree assault was reported at a residence in the 7100 block of Bruno Avenue.
Sunday, Feb. 27
At 7:39 p.m., $92 worth of gas was reported stolen from a gas station in the 3000 block of S. Hanley Road.
