Brentwood Petsmart Employee Stole Cash With Faked Returns, Police Say

More than $500 was stolen between Jan. 16 and Feb. 16, 2012, according to Brentwood Police.

A Petsmart employee stole at least $500 in cash from the store by faking merchandise returns, Brentwood Police said.

Mark Tyler, 39, of the 4400 block of Turquoise in the Affton area, was charged Jan. 25 with felony theft.

Brentwood Police said Tyler worked for the Petsmart store in the Promenade, made fraudulent returns and kept the cash between Jan. 16 and Feb. 16.

Bail for Tyler was set at $10,000.
