Police: Man Tries to Sell Pot at Galleria Movie Theater

The Richmond Heights Police reported the following crimes.

Monday, July 1

  • Officers responded to Macy’s where security detained a juvenile for stealing $105 in merchandise. The juvenile was arrested and conveyed to the St. Louis County Juvenile Detention Center.
Tuesday, July 2
  • Officers responded to the Galleria theatre where security detained a subject who tried to sell marijuana to a “plain clothes” security officer. The subject was arrested and later released on a state warrant application.
  • Officers responded to the Sephora store where security detained a subject for stealing $29 in merchandise. The subject was arrested and held on a municipal warrant application.
  • Officers responded to Macy’s where security detained a subject for stealing $28 in merchandise. The subject was arrested and released on a summons.
  • Store associate at Solstice reported that two subjects entered the store and stole two pairs of sunglasses valued at $740. The suspects fled the scene and made their escape.
Wednesday, July 3
  • Property manager at Psychiatric Care Consultants reported that person(s) unknown cut the copper wiring on the buildings two A/C units rendering them inoperable.
  • Two tenants of an apartment complex in the 7300 block of Ethel reported items missing from the shared basement storage area.
  • Officers responded to Buckle where security detained a subject for stealing $136 in merchandise. The subject was arrested and later released on a summons.
  • Victim reported that person(s) unknown entered his vehicle while it was parked in the Boulevard parking garage and stole several items including a laptop computer.
  • Victim stated that person(s) unknown entered her vehicle while in the parking lot at the Esquire and stole her purse.
  • Victim reported that person(s) unknown entered his vehicle in the Esquire lots and stole several items including a laptop computer.
  • An officer responded to I-170 and Eager for the report of an intoxicated driver. The officer located the vehicle and investigation led to the driver being arrested for suspicion of DWI. The driver was later released pending a state warrant application.
