Maplewood Man Faces Charge in Burglary on McCready

Maplewood Police said Amishaddai Johnson broke into a home while the owner was home.

A second man faces criminal charges after police said he broke into a home Sept. 7.

Amishaddai J. Johnson, 25, of the 7700 block of West Bruno Avenue in Maplewood, was charged Saturday with first-degree burglary.

Another man previously was charged in the same burglary.

Maplewood Police said Johnson broke into a house in the 2000 block of McCready Avenue about 8:21 p.m. Sept. 7 while the resident was home. A police report said he intended to steal from the home.

Johnson is being held in lieu of a $15,000 bond.
