Akande said the cleanup has been delayed by a mix-up of who should get the insurance check to pay for the cleanup – Joe Droege, the owner, or St. Louis County.

Jennifer Goeken, an administrative assistant with AALCO Wrecking said the demolition is waiting on clearance from St. Louis County.
